Why will the payments be suspended?
This decision has been taken due to weekly holidays. Since government offices and various institutions are usually closed on Saturdays and Sundays across the country, BISP payment centers will also be included in these holidays. The aim is also to give the staff a chance to rest so that they can perform their services better in the new week.
When will the payments resume?
The payment process will resume from Monday, June 2, 2025. Women who have not received their payments yet can collect the money from their nearest BISP camp center or payment center from June 2. However, BISP has requested women to visit the center on the scheduled days and avoid unnecessary rush to avoid hassle or other problems.
Some important instructions for women
If you are going to collect BISP sponsorship or educational scholarship money, then you must keep the following instructions in mind:
- Check the payment date: Go to the camp center only if you have received an SMS from BISP.
- Carry identification documents: Carry your original national identity card.
- Do not bring children: Avoid taking small children with you due to the intense heat and rush.
- Arrange drinking water: It is very important to keep yourself hydrated, so carry cold water.
- Cooperate with the camp staff: Follow the instructions of the staff and be disciplined.
- Avoid bullying: Wait your turn and maintain a peaceful environment.
Which women will not get BISP New Payments?
BISP has also clarified that those women who received the first installment of Rs. 13,500 in January/February will not get the installment this time. The next installment will be released to these women after Eid, so such women should avoid visiting the center.
Similarly, women whose installment was withdrawn for some reason will be re-included in the August/September installment. So these women also do not need to visit the center on May 31 or June 1.

Conclusion
There is no doubt that the Benazir Income Support Program is the largest social safety net currently available in Pakistan, with approximately 10 million households currently benefiting from it. However, it is important for these beneficiary households to follow the government instructions and choose the correct method to receive the payments if they want to receive their financial assistance on time. It should be noted that due to government holidays, new BISP payments will be delayed on Saturday and Sunday, i.e., May 31 and June 1, 2025. So, do not bother going to the center on these dates, but rather receive your payment from Monday, June 2.
