Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has introduced a new retail payment model across Pakistan from June 16, 2025. The new system aims to provide greater convenience, transparency and easy access to women beneficiaries so that they can receive their quarterly installments on time and without any hassle.

The Government of Pakistan and BISP authorities aim to introduce this system not only to solve old problems but also to save the deserving women from standing in queues, sun and heat of campsites. Now women will receive money directly from nearby shops or retail agents.

بے نظیر انکم سپورٹ پروگرام (BISP) کی جانب سے 16 جون 2025 سے پاکستان بھر میں نیا ریٹیل پیمنٹ ماڈل متعارف کروا دیا گیا ہے۔ اس نئے نظام کا مقصد خواتین مستحقین کو زیادہ سہولت، شفافیت اور آسان رسائی فراہم کرنا ہے تاکہ وہ اپنی سہ ماہی قسطیں بروقت اور بغیر کسی دشواری کے حاصل کر سکیں۔

حکومت پاکستان اور بی آئی ایس پی حکام کی جانب سے اس نظام کو متعارف کروانے کا مقصد نہ صرف پرانے مسائل کا حل نکالنا ہے بلکہ مستحق خواتین کو قطاروں میں لگنے، کیمپ سائٹس کے دھوپ اور گرمی سے بچانا بھی ہے۔ اب خواتین کو قریبی دکانوں یا خوردہ ایجنٹس سے براہ راست پیسے ملیں گے۔

What Is The Retail Payment Model?

Under the new retail payment model, deserving women will now be able to receive their money from the nearest authorized shopkeeper (retail agents) instead of visiting a bank branch or a specific campsite.

Key points:

• Biometric authentication (thumbprint) will be mandatory.
• The money will be given only to the actual deserving woman.
• Retail shops will make payments on a daily basis, with 24/7 facility at some places.

What To Do?

• Send your CNIC to 8171 and check your eligibility.
• Contact the nearest authorized retail agent on receiving the verification SMS.
• Go in person with the original CNIC
• Get biometric verification done with your thumb.
• Get a receipt for the full installment (Rs. 13,500).

• Presence for biometric verification
• Registered mobile SIM (if possible)

Phase 1: Starting From June 16, 2025

The first phase of the retail model has been started in major cities and selected districts. After this, the system will be expanded across the country in a phased manner. In the future, the old camp model will be completely abolished.
