BISP 8171 Payment Receiving Method Change

Suspension Of Payments And New Procedure

As formally announced by BISP, payments will remain suspended at all campsites on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Along with this, campsites will be closed across the country from Monday, and payments will be made only through retailers. After this change, women will now be able to collect their funds from the nearest approved retailer shop after biometric verification.

The Purpose Of This Move?

This decision was taken to save women from standing in long queues, waiting in the sun or rain, and unnecessary travel. Payments through retailers will not only make payments easier but will also provide convenience to women in their own locality.

Grievance Redressal

BISP has also clarified that if a woman’s payment is deducted, she can immediately file a complaint. For this purpose, a BISP helpline number has been issued, and every woman has been given the option to register a complaint by visiting her nearest BISP office or over the phone. Immediate action will be taken on the complaint, and the amount deducted will be refunded.

Payments Are Ongoing In More Than 80 Districts

From Monday, the payments of the Benazir Kafalat program will be started regularly in more than 80 districts across the country. Initially, payments were issued in 58 districts, but now it has been increased to include 22 more districts.

These new districts include:

Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Talha Gang, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal, Sialkot, Gujarat, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Khushab, Muzaffarabad, Hattian, Neelum, Mirpur, Kotli, Gilgit, Hunza, Nagar, Astore, Shigar, Skardu, Rando, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Chitral, Dir, Lower Kohistan, Upper Kohistan, Torghar, Haripur, Sahiwal, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Matiari, Umarkot, Jamshoro, Dadu, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Pishin, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Harnai, Sibi, Tank, Toba Tek Singh, Mianwali, Khairpur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Larkana, Shikarpur, Barkhan, Musakhel, Sherani, D.I. Khan, Bahawalnagar, Gujranwala, Wazirabad, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Lakki Marwat, Zhob, Loralai, Daki, Banir, Haveli, Khizr.

January To March Installments Still Ongoing

January to March installments are still being issued in these districts.
