Biometric verification i.e. fingerprint verification is mandatory to benefit from BISP. However, there were thousands of women who visited NADRA offices and updated their fingerprints, but when they went to the payment centers, the machines there failed to verify their fingerprints.

This problem had been going on for years, due to which especially women who belong to the laboring class or whose skin is affected by old age or hard work, faced constant mental and financial stress.

Problem Solution: Launch of NON-BVS System

BISP has now introduced “NON-BVS” i.e. Non-Biometric Verification System. Under this system, fingerprint verification is not required, and eligible women can receive their payments by fulfilling certain conditions.

This system has been initially implemented in a few districts of South Punjab and after its success, its scope is being expanded across the country.

What Is NON-BVS System?

NON-BVS is a system in which the condition of biometric verification has been removed. Under it:

• Then you can apply for NON-BVS.

How To Apply

• Visit BISP Tehsil Office
• Get “NON-BVS Application Form”
• Complete the form, attach a copy of CNIC
• Be present in the office with your guarantor
• Submit the form, get it verified by the staff
• After the form is completed, the payment will be given directly without biometric verification.

How Much Will You Get?

If your previous installments were stopped due to fingerprint issue, you will be given all the pending payments at once, such as:

• Current installment: Rs. 13,500
• Previous installments: Rs. 13500 or more (if stopped)
• Educational stipend (if eligible)
• That is, some beneficiaries may get Rs. 20,000 or more in one go.
