CM Punjab Asaan Karobar Finance Program – 2nd Phase Launched
The Punjab government has taken another big step to improve the economy and increase exports. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has formally launched the second phase of the Asaan Karobar Finance Program. Under this program, interest-free loans will be provided to small and large businesses in every region of Punjab so that more and more people can strengthen their businesses and increase exports.

Interest-free loans of Rs 90 billion
Under this program, the Punjab government has allocated a huge amount of Rs 90 billion. This facility will be available equally to businessmen of Central Punjab, North Punjab and South Punjab.
- Minimum loan for small businesses is Rs 1 million
- Maximum loan for medium and large businesses is Rs 30 million
- Special loan for exports up to Rs 50 million
All these loans will be provided at zero markup, meaning that businessmen will not have to pay interest.
5-Year Easy Installments
To facilitate the business community, the facility of repaying these loans in 5-year easy installments has been provided. This will also benefit those who could not start or expand their business due to lack of capital earlier.
Eligibility Criteria
There are some basic conditions to avail this scheme:
- The applicant should belong to Punjab
- The applicant should have a valid identity card
- The applicant should not be a defaulter of any financial institution
- The applicant should be between 25 and 55 years of age
- The business premises should be owned or rented
- The applicant should be an active tax filer
- Men and women as well as transgenders and special individuals are also eligible to apply
- The minimum age of the business should be 6 months
- The annual sales should be less than Rs 250 million
- The loan should be used for business purposes
Success Of The First Phase
In the first phase, loans worth Rs 31 billion were provided to 4238 business people under this scheme. They ranged from small shopkeepers to medium-sized industrialists. The second phase aims to facilitate even more people.
How to Apply For Asaan Karobar Finance
To join this scheme, entrepreneurs can apply on the Punjab Small Industries Corporation website or from the nearest Bank of Punjab branch. The documents required for application include:
- National Identity Card
- Business registration or license
- Business record of the last six months

Objective Of The Program
